We recommend that you take your MIO to a trusted jeweller or watch repairperson to change the battery. The jeweller/repairperson will first test to ensure your battery is indeed dead. The battery in a MIO should last up to one year from date of manufacture, however this may vary according to usage. Frequent use of the light and/or stopwatch/chronograph will significantly reduce the battery life. Please see the links below which clearly illustrate how to replace your MIO's battery and troubleshoot the battery change procedure. MIO uses a standard watch battery (CR2032.) Please print these instructions and take them with you to your jeweller or watch repairperson
*Please note that you should remind the jeweller that MIO is a water resistant watch and needs to be resealed and tested for water resistance after the battery change.
